Inspirational Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17- To "pray without ceasing" means to have our minds always on the things of God, to be in constant communication with him, so that every moment may be as fruitful as possible.

Our children will go downstairs to Hattie Boone Fellowship Hall for Children's Church after tithes and offering.
Please no eating or drinking in the sanctuary or choir stand (other than water when needed). This includes children.
Tuesdays at 4:30pm, Martial Arts with Deacon Owens.
Noonday and Evening Bible Study will resume in September.
August 12th-Insurance representative to give information on life insurance, burial insurance, financial expenses, and how to use insurance as an investment. 6:30 pm on zoom.

August 22nd-Men's Fellowship Fish Fry and Naomi Ruth Fellowship Bizarre. 12pm-4pm. See flyer for details.
August 23rd- New Light's Homecoming and Family/Friends Day. Start now inviting family, friends, former members and your neighbors. Ministries, please see your assignments on the assignment sheet. If you are not in a ministry or don't see your ministry listed, choose an area to help make this homecoming a great success.
August 26th- A conversation on children's mental health and emotional wellness. 6:30pm-7:30pm. Facilitator Brenda Byrd, LPC, LCADC, CCS.
***Save the date- September 19th-In-House Retreat (in-person) on Leadership and Membership to strengthen our church as we grow together in faith, service, and unity. Attendance is expected for all current ministry leaders, those aspiring to serve in ministry leadership, and all church members.
